Snuffle Tissue Box

$11.99

Does your dog love to tear a tissue box apart? The DogLemi Snuffle Tissue Box comes with 1.5 metres of inner fabric letting your dog pull out the treats hidden inside. This compact soft box is packed with layered fabric pockets and folds that hide kibble and treats, encouraging your dog to forage, slow down eating and get a satisfying mental workout. Available in two adorable designs – the Blue Whale Snuffle Box and the Grey Rabbit Snuffle Box – it’s ideal for dogs who love to use their nose.

How it works

  1. Load up the snuffle tissue box
Sprinkle your dog’s kibble or small dry treats into the different fabric layers and pockets inside the box, tucking some pieces deeper to make the game more of a challenge.
  2. Adjust the difficulty
For beginners, keep more treats near the top and in open folds. As your dog gets the hang of it, push food further into the pockets and layers so they have to sniff and nuzzle more carefully to find everything.
  3. Let your dog sniff and forage
Place the snuffle box on the floor and encourage your dog to explore. They’ll use their nose, tongue and gentle pawing to work through the layers and uncover each hidden piece.
  4. Refill and rotate
Once they’re done, shake out any crumbs, reload with fresh kibble or treats, and bring it back out later as part of your regular enrichment rotation. The box is sized perfectly for a small meal or snack for most small to medium dogs.

Features & benefits

  • Compact snuffle box design – Box-style snuffle toy with multiple layers of fabric pockets that hide kibble and treats for a focused foraging game.
  • Supports slower eating – Encourages dogs to work for their food, helping to slow down fast eaters and make mealtimes more enriching than a standard bowl.
  • Great for mental stimulation – Sniffing and searching taps into natural foraging instincts, providing a calming mental workout that can help take the edge off bored or restless dogs.
  • Soft, pet-friendly materials – Made from durable polyester with soft fleece and felt-style fabric that’s gentle on noses and paws while your dog rummages.
  • Cute character designs – Available at Dog Games Australia in two adorable styles:
    • Blue Whale Snuffle Box – bright ocean-inspired colours.
    • Grey Rabbit Snuffle Box – soft, neutral tones that suit most homes.
  • Ideal size for small–medium dogs – Approx. dimensions: 13.5 × 10 × 5 cm (excluding ears), inner fabric 150cm, making it perfect for puppies and small to medium breeds, or as a snack puzzle for larger dogs.
  • Lightweight & portable – Easy to move between rooms or pack for travel, holidays or office days so your dog’s nosework can come along too.
  • Machine washable – Can be popped into a gentle machine wash (recommend placing in a laundry bag, to prevent wrapping of other items) or hand-washed to keep it fresh and hygienic between uses

Enrichment ideas

  • Use part of your dog’s daily kibble allowance in the snuffle box instead of a regular bowl to naturally slow down eating.
  • Mix regular kibble with a few high-value treats so your dog occasionally hits a “jackpot” as they forage.
  • Offer the snuffle box as a calm activity after a walk or training session to help your dog wind down.
  • Set up the box in different spots around the house and cue your dog to “find it” for an easy indoor scent game.
  • Rotate the Blue Whale or Grey Rabbit Snuffle Box with other puzzles, lick mats and snuffle toys across the week to keep things interesting.

Safety & care

This is an interactive enrichment toy, not a chew toy. Always supervise your dog while they’re using the snuffle box and remove it if they start to chew, rip at the fabric or damage any parts. Choose an appropriate difficulty level for your dog and give a little guidance if they’re new to snuffle toys. After use, shake out leftover food and crumbs, then hand-wash or machine-wash on a gentle cycle and allow to air dry completely before the next session.

Dog Games Australia is a tiny Brisbane-based operation: just me, Sal, and my two Chief Toy Testers, Atlas and Ares. I personally choose each toy for its safety, durability and enrichment value, so you can feel good about adding more sniffing, problem-solving and calm, focused fun to your dog’s day.
