Treat Locking Discs Dog Treat Dispenser

Turn treat time into a little brain workout with the Outward Hound Treat Locking Discs.
This interactive treat dispenser comes as a set of three soft plastic discs that lock together, hiding food inside so your dog has to roll, nudge and problem-solve to release each reward. Atlas loves playing with this toy and gave a good challenge of unlocking the discs to release the treats!

How it works

  1. Fill the discs
Pop your dog’s favourite dry treats or small kibble into the centre of each disc.
  2. Lock them together
Connect the discs using the flexible prongs so they form one puzzle unit. The prongs make it trickier for the discs to separate, adding an extra layer of challenge.
  3. Offer the puzzle
Place it on the ground and let your dog sniff, paw and push it around to unlock the discs and dispense the hidden treats.
  4. Reward through play
As your dog rolls and nudges the discs, treats fall out and the discs begin to separate—rewarding persistence and problem-solving with every little win.

Features & benefits

  • 3 locking discs in one toy – Use all three together for a more challenging puzzle, or start with fewer discs for beginners.
  • Great boredom buster – Encourages active play and keeps your dog mentally engaged as they figure out how to unlock and separate the discs.
  • Physical and mental enrichment – Your dog uses their nose, brain and body: sniffing for treats, rolling the discs, and working out how to make the puzzle pay off.
  • Flexible difficulty – The prongs between the discs lock them together, so you can make the puzzle more challenging by packing treats carefully and using all three discs.
  • Perfect for scent games – Ideal for nose work sessions and scatter-and-search games indoors on rainy days.

Safety & care

This is an interactive puzzle toy, not a chew toy.
Always supervise your dog while they play, especially if they’re a strong or determined chewer. Check the discs regularly and remove the toy if any part becomes loose or damaged. Intended for dogs only and should be stored away between supervised play sessions.
